You can use busybox dumpkmap to get a binary keymap used by busybox
loadkmap. But as long you are only US Keyboards (I use german encoded ones)
you do not need to.
if you want to include the possibility to change the keymap you should get a
binary keymap on your development machine using busybox dumpkmap > keymap,
and load it with busybox loadkmap < keymap on your embedded system on boot
time.
If you do this, please send me a copy of your keymap, as i am trying to get
an archive with binary keymaps (I only got a german and a japanese one for
now).
You should not need to change the system font...
