Hey all,
	I was just lookin through the gunzip and gzip code, and realized
that all these problems started right around when the versioning code was
changed.  Is it possible that there could have been an error present before,
and it just never surfaced until the versioning was changed?  Again, these
are just random thoughts.  Thanks for all the effort everyone!
