Again, yes.  That would be better then mucking about with sed.
I should have thought of that, since I'm already doing "DOSTATIC=true"
in there anyways.

Mostly I just wanted to be in code-freeze for a few days, so avoid
making leaving in any embarresing mistakes.  I plan on cutting 
the release this afternoon,
