[BusyBox] bug#1068: dd if=X of=Z where Z is read-only fails mysteriously and incoherently

Package: busybox
Version: 0.47

I did the following sequence:

red # dd if=/dev/fd0u1680 of=/tmp/boot.ima
3360+0 records in
3360+0 records out
red # dd of=/dev/fd0u1680 if=/tmp/boot.ima
dd: /dev/fd0u1680red #

No messages, no nothing! With the full dd from Debian 2.1, it goes
like this:

red # ./dd if=/tmp/boot.ima of=/dev/fd0u1680
./dd: /dev/fd0u1680: Read-only file system
red #

This needs a fix..........
