Summary: syslogd exits if rotate-files does not exists
Description:
when syslogd rotates its log-files (/var/log/messages.*) and the files does
not exists yet, i.e first rotatation, the xrename function will gracefully
exit syslogd.
I guess this should be handled with a normal rename and just ignore if the
function returns any error, or what to do? At least not exit...
