Summary: inetd may leak sockets
Description:
If inetd decides that a service is 'looping' its temorarly (10min)
disabled. This happens (default) if the service has been started 40 times
within 60 seconds.

If this guard is enabled, then inetd doesn't close the acceped socket.

Ok. Last inetd version synced with Slackware-1.79s, this patch added
already (and into two place).

Vladimir has a habit in applets he maintains of throwing out the old
codebase and resyncing with mars so we get fresh bugs. He seems to have
done this with inetd, I can't match up your patch with any section of the
current code. (I don't know if the "patch applied" comment means he
applied your patch before throwing out all the existing code or not.
Seems a moot point now.)

If you still see this problem, please open a fresh bug.
