[Buildroot] UEFI Livedvd

I'm looking into what will be required for legacy free PCs

Has anyone used Buildroot to create a UEFI Livedvd with either Grub or 
Syslinux?

I did a bit or forensics on the Ubuntu installer which can boot either 
UEFI native or CSM (BIOS) mode so I have a clue about how it works, but 
I don't see any stock options in 2018,05 that would create a UEFI 
bootable DVD.

Before I start re-inventing wheels I thought it was worth asking.
