Said user will also need to add BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_GCC_7 somehow. Setting 
BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_GCC_6 (or anything else) should also work, since we 
don't enforce the correctness of the gcc version selection.
